Your doctor will ensure that the blood tests suggested for you are appropriate for you, sometimes by carrying out a consultation in order to assess your clinical/medical history and the most probable diagnosis prior to having the blood test/s.
If you have been asked by your GP or other healthcare professional to have a blood test, then please inform the clinic when booking your appointment, as IPSA Medical may want you to bring your written form/request with you to your appointment.
All of our samples are collected by courier throughout the day and go to a 24-hour central London lab, thus enabling us to turn around your results rapidly. The blood test fees are in addition to your IPSA Medical consultation fee and we will charge for these on the same day as your appointment.
The most common blood tests are turned around in approximately 6 hours. Following our fully confidential, client-centred approach, all your blood test results will be clearly and fully explained to you by a clinician and your results will be forwarded to you.
